my DIY & Retrofitting projects
Over the years I retrofitted a lot of my gear. I also started a couple of DIY-projects. Maybe some of the fotos will inspire You for Your own projects.
The r(m)ooncontrol 2/4 is a switch box for distributing an audio stereo signal to 4 speakers. This means that you have a stereo signal switchable on the 4 speakers in all 4 directions, which makes working in my studio much easier and more pleasant. The box is controlled by an external controller. It is also possible to switch the signals via radio remote control. The signal path of the speaker is 100% analog. In addition, the signal is balanced at the output.
DIY stand for 4 Behringer desktop synths, plus expansion
An additional potentiometer reduces the rate of the phaser and brings it to a standstill.
Eurorack module with built-in speaker. For example, it converts an analog clock signal into an audible “beep”.
Simple on/off switches to mute every channel separately without changing the position of the knobs.
Simple button makes the filter to sound more angry.
I rebuilt all the studio furniture in 2014. The old furniture served as a kind of prototype. Now everything is made of sturdy beech wood.
DIY Eurorack first try
Here I have made a small but nice synth with keyboard from my access virus TI Desktop.
How to put a Blofeld into my 19" rack? Here´s my solution. In the meantime it´s completely white.
Simple but effective vocal booth.
Let´s give the goold old bordeaux red speakers a modern white finish.
Nice looking diffusor to correct my room accoustics. Has been replaced in the meantime.
